Dance photography workshop
Follow the movement, feel the rhythm of the dance, capture the emotion... and shoot at the right moment.
We will deepen the technique and go beyond, giving free rein to creativity!
The best way to learn is to practice: a photo session with a professional dancer awaits you!
We will take advantage of the light and transform the constraints of the context into artistic effects.
And finally, we will share together our shots, our doubts, our advice and above all our common passion for photography!
Content of the workshop:
• Learn to manage and master shutter speed settings
• Learn composition for taking dance photos
• Learn to transform the lights and constraints of the context into assets
• Learn to sublimate movement and unleash creativity
• Learn to adapt to the context and transform constraints into assets
• Free your creativity by using contextual elements (reflex, lights/shadows/blur, etc)
• Choose the right lens for dance photography.
• Learn to manage artistic effects for an original and emotional result.
Workshop program – 4h30
Home 30 mins : Presentations
Theory 1h30 : Learn the best practices and tricks of dance photography.
Practice 1h : Have fun and express your creativity while shooting with a professional dancer.
Exchange 1h30 : Share your pictures, your doubts and your feelings, I will give you my advice to progress.
Prerequisites:
• Control of shutter speed and TV mode
• Cameras accepted: Reflex, bridges, hybrids and expert compacts.
Note:
The photo workshop is not part of the certifying professional training and no certificate will be delivered at the end.
Modification up to 14 working days before the date of the workshop. After this period, no refund or replacement possible.

And I absolutely don't regret it.
The exchange with the other participants as well as with the dancer was very fascinating and informative.

I had the pleasure of following a photo workshop with Valentina at the end of May, the theme of which was flamenco to better understand the movement of bodies.
What to say about it? Accustomed to taking portraits, it was a wonderful moment, as entertaining as it was educational, which gave me new keys to progress in my shootings. Valentina's professionalism, the enthusiasm she generates during the sessions, her caring but demanding look at our photos brought me a lot! Dynamic, relaxed and very diligent, she led a complete, varied and progressive session, moving from theory to role-playing with a talented flamenco dancer!

I didn't know what to expect from this dance photography workshop, I just imagined having fun in a new field and coming home with dance photos.
And surprise! 5 intense hours, an interesting and at the same time practical course, Valentina shares her secrets and some funny anecdotes, you are immersed in a photographic world of movement, emotion, light and time flies! I am happy and enthusiastic about this course, I only regret that it did not last longer! This will be an opportunity to do another with another dancer ;-)
